Cse report of Second molar tooth root Frangment during Extration and Recobvered from maxillary sinus


Abstract
A 27 years old woman was referred because, during an attempted Extraction 1 week before, the right maxillary Second molar root fragement was lost, presumably in the maxillary Sinus.
Examination of the patient showed an extraction wound filled with a blood clot. the patient had no pain or Swelling of the face. These was no history of maxillary Sinus disease.
X-Ray examination showed a tooth root fragement lying on the floor of the right maxillary sinus. (Fig. 1, 2)
Hospitalization for its removal was Advised. Surgical removal of the root fragement. Little Swelling and pain resulted the soft tissue healed by first intention.
